What an amazing experience. Liz is phenomenal with training and techniques. She is a wealth of knowledge and taught us so much. She has an amazing way with dogs and simplifies things for their owners. If you have smaller children, we highly recommend Liz. She has a way with making everyone in the house feel comfortable and included in the process. No more than Liz left our home we recommended her to other friends of ours. She is passionate about what she does and is extremely thorough. She even followed up within the hour after she left with information on her visit. We cannot say enough good things about Liz. Our Yoda has what he needs now to be awesome!! Thank you Liz!!!!

 We hadn’t had a puppy in many years and decided to get two puppies! We were struggling to get the puppies to come to us while outside. I called Liz and she came for one on one training and in one session showed us how to get them to come. And it worked. She’s a lifesaver. Also, potty training has been hard with the two of them. She is always available to help. She explains on what to do and gives me a lot of encouragement. She is amazing and truly cares about you and your puppies success. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great person too. I highly recommend her, you will be very happy with Liz.

Although I had dogs before, I was entirely new to having a puppy. Liz helped me and Ace every step of the way. She’s amazing at translating his behavior for me so I understand what he’s doing and helps me to communicate with him in a way he understands. Always with positive reinforcement, Ace has learned fun tricks and we’ve been able to work on the best training that fits our lives. He loves Liz and is always exciting for a fun session with her. Thank you Liz for helping me and Ace to become an unstoppable team!

Liz showed me how to turn my rescue lab's high energy into happiness that makes his and my life better. Scout was 6 years old when he arrived in my life and needed some guidance to be a good member of this household. In just one lesson he and I learned the basics. The second lesson expanded our understanding. I am sure we will be seeing Liz again and again as we adjust to each other. Liz is able to explain to me the difference between defiance and progress. All the while he is learning, Scout's personality is honored by Liz's respect for what dogs want to do. I am sure that we will have a fine, rich life together because of Liz's help. As first-time dog owners, we didn’t have a clue about how to train our new poodle, Zappa. Liz guided us every step of the way. She helped us with crate training, house training, basic commands like sit, come, and stay. She also helped us leash train Zappa. When we walk him now, people always compliment us on how well behaved he is. Best of all, Liz taught us about how to train him, so that we can continue to work on his behavior. Liz always followed up the training session with an email with a detailed summary of what we worked on and how to practice. She also gave us great tips on food, treat, and all the other things you need for a happy dog. Liz’s guidance contributed immensely to the success we’ve had making Zappa part of our family.

    Liz is an amazing dog trainer!!! She cares so much about dogs and wants all dogs to be happy and well cared for with loving families. I called Liz totally desperate after bringing our adorable puppy home at 8 weeks. We were having a very difficult time with crate training and really had no clue how to take care of a dog. I had read plenty on the subject before bringing our beautiful Charlotte home, but with the reality of a little ball of furry sweetness wreaking havoc on our household, my research and reading was just not enough. We needed HELP!!! 

    We were a family who never had a dog before with limited positive interactions with dogs (many negative ones on my end as a child and young adult). We had no idea what we were doing! Liz was so patient and understanding with us, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her! She helped us to understand what goes on in a puppy’s mind and taught us what to do in terms of crate and potty training, biting, chewing, jumping, impulsivity, general commands like “Wait” and "sit”, as well as very important commands like “Come” and “Leave it”. I never felt alone while Liz was working with us, even when she wasn’t training at our house. When I texted her with questions, she always got back to me in a timely manner. 

     She never made me feel like I was a nuisance or was bothering her, and she always made me feel like I was supported throughout the training period (and she still does!). We started out as trainer/client but now are more like friends and family. Cannot express how grateful that we found Liz when we did. She has so much knowledge and presents it in such a kind and caring way. When you work with Liz, you feel like she is a friend or family member rather than someone you are paying to teach you how to train your dog. She’s the best! Hire her, you will be so glad you did.

If it’s one on one dog training that you’re looking for, look no further! Liz is professional, personable, very knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. She personalizes her training to meet each dogs specific needs and truly cares about you and your dog succeeding.

I have a now, 19 month old Newfie who is anything but a “gentle giant”, and after many failed attempts with classes/trainers starting when he was 4 months old, I found Liz and had her come to my home for one on one training. I was amazed at how Winston responded to her training techniques and how much I learned. She knows how to communicate with dogs in a language that they understand which amazes me. I was doing everything wrong but Liz took the time to answer any and all of my questions and taught me what I needed to know and was very patient.

Unfortunately dog training doesn’t stop with the basics like sit, down, leave it and stay that they learn as puppies. As they grow they develop new habits and behavioral issues that can become very stressful, and at times overwhelming without the wealth of knowledge and guidance that Liz provides.

Over the past year I’ve reached out to Liz many times for more help with training Winston and she has always been very accommodating and the answer to my prayers!!

I highly recommend Liz for all of your dog training needs whether it be a puppy, teenager(like my Winston), or adult and can’t say enough good things about her. Thanks Liz for everything, you are a lifesaver!!!

Liz is absolutely fantastic with my puppy Finn! I really appreciate how Liz is able to quickly pivot and address new challenges that come up. She’s an excellent trainer and all the hard work with Finn is paying off. I’m so grateful for the training and personal advice. Love Liz!!!!!!
